ANALISIS KEMAMPUAN REPRESENTATIF MATEMATIS PESERTA DIDIK DALAM MENYELESAIKAN SOAL TEOREMA PYTHAGORAS

The purpose of this study was to determine the mathematical representation ability eighth grade junior high school students on Pythagorean theorem material based 3 indicators, namely visual representation, symbolic and verbal representation. This used subject class VIII D at SMP 1 Mejobo. research method uses descriptive with a qualitative approach. instrument is test Theorem material. data analysis techniques in form reduction, presentation, conclusions. results obtained from are that solving questions still needs be improved again, because average percentage students' abilities as whole 53.12% so it medium category. Judging each indicator, included category total 73.12%. However, for indicator or expression, 65.83% low 19.37%.
